Tolstoys focus message is that human love, trust, and regular family ties are life-suffering qualities. Pierre and Andrei see the fight in altogether different manners. Their perspectives on war change as the war advances. Ruler Andrei, a Russian officer, thinks about his life the day preceding the war. During the war he understands that there are progressively significant things throughout everyday life. Pierre, a tally of Russia, is there to watch the war from a separation. His interest places him in the fight, and the forthcoming of war changes to him. Sovereign Andrei, a regiment officer, considers the fight that will happen the following day and understands this fight will be the most horrible of fights in which he has partaken. Knowing this, he ponders things that have happened before in his life. Tolstoy utilizes authenticity to build up his characters. Any individual in this circumstance would consider their life. Andrei discusses the things that have involved or tormented him in his life. He contemplates internally, Yes, truly, there they are those bogus pictures which unsettled, enchanted, and tormented me (Nelson 256). The focal issues he is discussing are his adoration for a lady, the passing of his dad, and the intrusion of Russia. The passing of his dad is the explanation he feels the manner in which he does about war. The demise of anyones guardians would make that person feels a type of anger. The French attacked Russia under Napoleon, and they cleared the wide open slaughtering any and everybody in the manner. Andreis father happened to be one of those people, and this incensed Andrei with contempt against the French. Andrei discusses gallantry and how it doesn't have a place in war. War is a period of mass passing and obliteration. He accepts that you should execute or be slaughtered during a fight. Individuals of the present reality would need to concur about this thought of valor during war. Andrei says, not to take detainees, that by itself would change the entire war and make it less barbarous (Nelson 261). There are two main types of class associated with education. These are working and middle class and both of these are very different and have very different views about education. Part of this may be down to the affluence of the area you come from. Taylor, M (2006) says, â€Å"In affluent areas in north London the study would expect 67% of 11 year old to achieve level 5 in nation English test. Children growing in more deprived areas such as Dudley, just 13% are likely to get top level 5 in English.† This puts the north/south divide theory into action, however it also shows that social class does take an effect on the children’s attitude to learning. When children are at Primary level they are easily lead and this can mean either the right way and have a good approach to education or the wrong way and not be bothered. Giddens, A. (2006, p711) states that ‘During process of schooling, children from lower class simply come to see that they are ‘not clever enough’ to expect to get highly paid, or high status jobs.’ This shows that if children don’t get the correct help from teachers and parents, then they can easily lose motivation and give up, even at a young Primary school level. Environment Due to Mining Industries

Question: Discuss about the Environment Due to Mining Industries. Answer: Impacts on Environment Due to Mining Industries Industrialization has the major part to contribute to the economic development of a nation and its prosperity. However, it is also a major cause of environmental degradation. There are various types of industries running in a nation which includes manufacturing, packaging, refining, dye industry, industrial dump sites, nuclear industry, and mining industry which includes mining operation related to different types of metals and materials such as gold, coal, and precious metals etc. Their environmental threat includes natural resources depletion, major climate changes resulting in global warming, acid rain, and degradation of land, hazardous wastes production, pollution of air, soil, and water. There are different mining industries for the extraction of Copper, diamond, gold, coal, and iron, which produces harmful pollutants in the air, soil, and water(Bendez-Quispe, Azaedo, and Hernndez-Vsquez, 2017). Water and soil contamination secondary to acid mine drainage (AMD) are a major conc ern for environmental safety worldwide. AMD is an underground mining waste of coal, which can cause problems related to land-use and it can stay for ten decades after termination of the mining industry and impacts nearby environments very badly. Due to the absence of disposal of waste water of mine, the ecology is being destroyed with increasing number of days. This coal mine frequently produces metalloids, metals, and acidic substances which affect the soil fertility, moisture, microbiological content, and health. They further lower the pH of water that results in mobilization and dissolution of metals from the coal deposits and thereby damaging the life of aquatic and the nearby vegetation. The disposal water of mine is utilized for irrigation on an occasional basis, which decreases the soil fertility due to the presence of coal slurry in the water. The problem of blasting in the area of the mining industry is affecting the houses present in the surrounding area secondary to shake and disturbance caused by it. The heavy metals emitted by various mining operations such as extraction, mining and strip mining are Hg (Mercury), Zn (Zinc), Cd (Cadmium), Pb (Lead), Cr (Chromium), and Ni (Nickel) (Huisman, Schouten, and Schultz, 2006). The tailings called as solid slurry causes contamination of soil and underground water due to leaching process. Refining of ores also uses caustic chemicals such as dangerous chemical cyanide, which can cause critical environmental and health damages. The mining operation also releases asbestos during the break of the material. The burning of coal releases toxic gases that include nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, and dust particles in the air results in acid rain and air pollution. By emitting the heavy metals such as manganese (Mn2+), zinc (Zn2+) and aluminium (Al3+) from coal mines, it is impacting the climate like monsoon season variation, precipitation, and another related condition associated with meteorology an d its outcomes is bad quality crops, flood, and undesirable climate changes(Dev, 2013). Mechanism of Entry of Pollution in the Environment The mining not only impacts the mine workers, but also the surrounding environment. The contaminants emitted from the industries include Hg, Zn, Cd, Pb, Cr, Ni and others which destroy the helpful microorganisms present in the soil. The mining of nuclear materials leads to the dissolution of strong acid fluids in the rock beds, thereby posing risk to nearby ground water resources. It also causes noise pollution, and other health problems like a headache, sleeplessness, mental disturbance, and irritation. Brine mining causes damage to the storage tanks and pipelines, causing leaks and pollution of water bodies which further results in the plant growth inhibitions and death of aquatic animals (Hasan, Rashid, and Paul, 2015). Industrial pollutants contain toxins which result in the malfunctioning of natural purification (biological) resulting in water and soil borne diseases. Nuclear pollutants cause undesirable diseases secondary to its presence in food items taken by living beings. Lead is the reason of adult cardiovascular disease and results in the impaired neurological development. Chromium causes cancers and mercury damages the neurological function and the kidneys. Cadmium also is a cause of cancer and disease of kidneys. Asbestos results in cancers of lung and lung related illness. The chromium (Cr6) metal after absorption reduces itself to Crp3 which binds to skin proteins strongly and thereby causes various diseases like cancer of the lung, ulcers, damage to the brain, tissue-specific necrosis, emphysema, carcinoma, organoleptic problems, and pneumoconiosis (Cha and Stow, 2015). Iron is an essential element of diet, but lethal quantities of it secondary to mine effluents can cause cognitive impa irments (depression), cardiac and lung problems. Mining-related activities have caused insurmountable environmental threat which includes suffocation, sore throat, eye irritation, cough, pain in the chest, and sneezing. Deforestation is also the reason of leaching of chemicals inside the earth and its resources secondary to the erosion (Mining exposes Sudanese population to harmful pollutants, 2015). Measures to Control the Industrial Pollution There is evidence for the control measures taken by the mining industries to treat its wastes to minimize its environmental impact. Despite the presence of disposal systems for wastes produced by mining operations, there is still the presence of a large number of contaminants in it as the technologies and plant involved are not enough for the treatment of mine wastes. This results in the gradual increase of its concentration which changes with distance as compared to the point of generation. There is alarming need of taking action to mitigate mining effects as if it is not corrected, then the end cost for communities and government will be dreadful. Water usage can be minimized by conducting underground gasification than surface mining, which will help in lowering the amount of hazardous evaporation in the air. Phytoremediation can also be utilized to prevent the harmful effects of mining. This method uses few specific plants to destroy contamination of soil. However, the methods of land-farming (by the use of bulk nutrients and agents), biosparging (by the use of microorganisms) are also good for prevention of mining pollution. Buffering agents like (CO2 and HCO3-) and other chemicals like (lime, fertilizers) can be utilized to acid neutralization of water (AMD) and also of the soil. To control pollution of air and water, the mine water, which is delivered to the sedimentation pond, should be drained using natural drain to use it for suppression of dust. Similarly, the effluent of washery should be re-circulated through the slime and thickener ponds. To reduce air pollution, sprinkling and spraying of water are done to the roads of transport to decrease the generation of dust. The depressed surface created after mining should be rehabilitated by sealing the cracks and tree plantation which would help to reduce pollution to some extent(Pochechun, Arkhipov and Kuchin, 2017). The mining pollution can be prevented by improving the manufacturing efficiency for reducing the new minerals demand and by focusing on the use renewable energy resources. By reducing consumption of minerals as currently 80 tons of resources are needed yearly per person and comprises mining resources also (Petrov and Tanev, 2015). The pollution in the mining can be controlled by doing a proper assessment of environmental impact and future mitigation measure and it is followed by proper planning its post and pre-mining operations. The industry should have the legal grant to start its operation. The regulatory standard defined by government must be taken into consideration. Regular monitoring should be done to check its released substances and emissions in the surrounding. Remining should be done which includes mining in the previously mined region to manage environmental problems. African Diaspora Essay Example

African Diaspora Essay Example African Diaspora Essay African Diaspora Essay The Pan African movement was dedicated to establishing independence for African nations and cultivating unity among black people throughout the world. During this time leaders across the nation held conferences in which they discussed the de-colonization process in Africa. The primary leader during this movement was W. E. B Dubois. He attended many conferences where many people believed him and followed in his direction. The first conference was held in London in 1900 and was convened by Henry Sylvester- Williams. This conference brought people from African decent together where they discussed their common fate and unity amongst the African community. The next conferences were organized by W. E. B Dubois which took place in 1919 and 1927. The conference in 1919 discussed W. E. B Dubois trip to Paris where he reported discrimination amongst black soldiers in the US army who were station in France. Also he spoke at the Versailles Peace Conference where he ensured African interests were addressed. The Manchester conference of 1945 won the reputation of a pace-maker for decolonization in Africa and in the British West Indies. It marked a significant advance in the participation of workers in the Pan African cause. It demanded an end to colonial rule and an end to racial discrimination, while it carried forward the broad struggle against imperialism, for human rights and equality of economic opportunity. The Pan-African Congress strategy positioned the political and economic demands of the Congress within a new world context of international co-operation. 2. When W. E. B. Du Bois and Marcus Garvey had their first contact in May 1915, Du Bois already was a Black leader in the US, while Garvey had just the month before established his UNIA in Jamaica. Du Bois was on a visit in Jamaica, and received a very friendly welcomeletter by Garvey. Soon afterwards they met in person, shook hands and Garvey told Du Bois briefly of his plans, eager to find a supporter in him. Almost one year later, Garvey came to the US for a speaking tour through the country to raise money for a project in Jamaica. Garvey wanted to invite Du Bois in person to his first lecture and therefore visited the NAACP headquarters. As Du Bois was not there, he left an invitation that was declined in a polite way by Du Bois, but nevertheless Du Bois announced Garveys tour in his magazine the Crisis. During his tour Garvey decided, that the US was the place for his ideas and that he should therefore stay in the United States. He started speaking weekly in Harlem, soon found a huge amount of followers, officially founded the US branch of the UNIA end of July 1918 and short afterwards established the UNIA newspaper The Negro World 3. The African response to slavery was divided into three instances in which slaves which successful in freeing themselves. The first instance was the maroons of Jamaica. From 1494 to 1655 Jamaica was a Spanish colony. Spain established the plantation system and started to grow and export agricultural crops. In 1655 Great Britain challenged Spanish occupation of the island and captured it. During the war between Spain and Great Britain slaves on the plantation took the opportunity and escaped into the mountains. When the war was over the British demanded that the slaves return but the slaves argued that they were slaves of the Spanish and since the Spanish were no longer there, they were now free. Great Britain insisted that they were still slaves. The slaves reaction was â€Å"if you think we are slaves come and get us†. Due to the slaves reaction war ensued between the maroons and the British soldiers from 1655 to 1738. In 1738 the British governor of Jamaica believed that in the interest of the security of planters and the stability of the island it would be wise to make peace with the maroons. Based on his decision the British government did an unprecedented agreement. At the press conference they wrote out a peace treaty with the maroons. In the peace treaty Great Britain agreed to recognize the freedom and independence of the maroons. They decided to give them land in Jamaica where they could establish their own communities, governor themselves, and they would be free of taxation. The British government created a state within a state. The maroons promised that they would not allow runaway slaves to use maroon settlements as sanctuaries. Runaway slaves that were found on maroon land would be returned to his owners. The British governor believed that the maroons were not upholding the second part of their agreement because they were not returning runaway slaves. The maroon argument was that if they seen any runaway slaves they would return them but so far they have not seen any. As a consequence a second war broke out between the maroons and the British government in 1795. During this war large numbers of maroons were captured and deported to Canada as punishment and eventually transported to the west coast of Africa. This was the first instance were a group of slaves freed themselves. Next, the second group of slaves that freed themselves was the Republic of Palmers in Brazil. During the slavery period the Portuguese had the right to trade in slaves from the time of the Treaty of Tordisellas in 1494 between Spain and Portugal. Portugal and Brazil transported more African to be enslaved in Brazil than the rest of the country combine. There were vast areas in Brazil suited to the plantation system. Most plantations were in Bahia and Pernambuco. At the beginning of the 17th century slaves escaped in mass from these providences. These slaves escaped into the interior of Brazil and establish their own communities and government. Slaves in other parts of Brazil knew their only was to be freed was to find their way to palmers. The Republic of Palmers grew by leaps and boundaries. By the end of the 17th century the planters of Brazil complained to the government that the existence of the Republic of Palmers was destabilizing through the plantation system in those providences. The government sent troops against the Republic of Palmers at the end of the 17th century which caused slaves to escape further into the interior where they lived. The last instances of slaves freeing themselves were the Haitian Revolution were the Haitian people abolished slavery. The coming of free trade forced planters to sell their products on world markets. Secondly, the decline in productivity caused farmers to lose products. Next, investors in Europe where reluctant to give planters loans because of all the money they lost in Haiti. Finally, the impact of public opinion in Europe government forced them to end slavery in America. They feared that if slavery continued the same thing that happened in Haiti would happen elsewhere. This pressure caused the British to abolition the slave trade in 1807.

Change Experience Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words

Change Experience - Essay Example People are always ready to resist change as an effort to retain their well-known methods of operations. Resistance to change was the main challenge of the new information system in the pharmaceutical marketing. People offered both intentional and unintentional resistance to the new operating system in their operations. Intentional resistance involved avoiding using the system intentionally. This meant that people adopted the traditional method to obtain information about a certain product. In such cases, people were fully aware of the benefits of using the new system but they opted to bypass it. In the unintentional resistance, people developed a negative attitude toward the new system. The negative attitude was developed from consideration of the cost and the efficiency of the new system. Although the conventional method of prescription is efficient and fast it lacks accuracy. The new system, on the other hand, enhances accuracy but it is time-consuming and hence inefficient (Rokeac h, 1973). Learning new ideas is always a challenge to many people and, this had an effect on the new system. Although the system is user-friendly, most people working with the system were incompetent and, this contributed to their resistance. Having been trained using the traditional operation system meant that the new system was a challenge to both my career and industrial operation. Learning new ideas is always a challenge to many people and, this had an effect with the new system. Although the system is user friendly, most people working with the system were incompetent and, this contributed to their resistance. Having been trained using the traditional operation system meant that the new system was a challenge to both my career and industrial operation. Throughout our training, we had been taught how to have as much information as possible concerning a certain pharmaceutical product (Borkowski, 2005). This meant that we had used all our resources, time learning, and memorizing information about pharmaceutical product. When I first encountered the new information system, I felt betrayed. This is because I considered my education system as a waste of time and resources. I considered the new system as nullification of our education and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. I also felt betrayed since any ordinary person could use the new information system to perform a similar task as that performed by a trained pharmacist. Revolutions resulting from adopting technology in various firms and industry are inevitable. This indicates that learning or adopting new technology is the best method of enhancing sustainability in the modern business world (Funigiello, 2005). This awareness challenged me to learn how to use the new information system. Despite the challenges and feelings of betrayal, I had to learn how to use the new information system in order to save my profession. Learning how to use the system involved substituting my ordinary knowledge about prescription with the working of the new system. The second action involved

How Horses Were Still Used In World War I Term Paper

How Horses Were Still Used In World War I - Term Paper Example How Horses Were Still Used In World War I This paper aims to establish this opinion that WWI hugely influenced human and animal interrelationships by the way horses were used in the war. It will also highlight different ways in which horses were used. Discussion will be supported with important research literature to assess the extent to which this opinion could be held true. History shows that cavalry units or warriors mounted on horseback formed an essential constituent of a military force. It is claimed that â€Å"the best horses were taken by the cavalry† (Breverton). The greater the number of horses, the stronger a military force was considered. This is before the vulnerability of animals to modern artillery was much of an issue. However, horses continued to be used in WWI because warfare was also going through important changes in this time period. Warfare used in WWI had not been used before, so not much was known by the combatants about the vulnerability of animals before machine guns or tanks. It should be remembered that this war changed the concept of armed conflict. This is because it represents a very important transition from the use of horses to modern artillery. WWI was started with cavalry forces, but the favor shifted from horses to machine guns over passing time. This shift also occurred because â€Å"supplying the fodder for ho rses and mules was a permanent problem† (Breverton). WWI marks a transition period in human and animal interrelationships.

Heterosexual Marriage Essay Example for Free

Heterosexual Marriage Essay In our time we can see different sex marriages: homosexual and heterosexual, but which one is better for us. None of us would be in the world if we didn’t have a mother and father. God created a man and a woman as the top of his creativity. As they say a woman completes a man and a man completes a woman. This is openness to a new life, which implies a necessity of heterosexual union. In my opinion, the word marriage should only apply to a union between a man and a woman because this marriage is legal everywhere, they have the human procreation, and better raise them children. First of all, I think that union between man and woman is legal everywhere because it is not just in the government law and in religion too. In the world this marriage is legal in all countries, and acceptable in all religious movements. The state recognizes this relationship as a public institution in its laws because the relationship makes a unique and essential contribution to the common good. In some countries they do not recognize gay-marriage, just the union between female and male. For example, in Bible God said:† It is not good for man to be alone†, a man leaving his parents and being jointed to his wife. The Bible clearly identifies marriage as being between a man and a woman. The second thought is heterosexual marriage having the human procreation. The purpose of marriage is to procreation children, so same sex marriage comes down to the biology of the sex organs. For example, a man and woman can have a child, but a woman and a woman, or a man and a man cannot. Therefore, same-sex couples cannot procreate a new life; they cannot realize this basic function of marriage. The heterosexual have every opportunity to continue to race, and also a healthy way that is not bad for the child. The last important thought, that a union between a man and a woman can better raise a child. The marital union also, provides the best conditions for raising children: namely, the stable, loving relationship of a mother and a father present only in marriage. They will not confuse the child who he or she is. For example, father is always your child’s teacher; a mother also, gives more affection and love. If we combine these two thoughts together, the children will growth completely. So, I think that the kids need both parents: a father and a mother to grow in good family. I can say that the word marriage should only apply to a union between a man and a woman because this marriage is legal everywhere, they have the human procreation, and better raise them children. This marriage is the lifetime union of a man and a woman, primarily for the purpose of build a family and provide a stable environment for that family. This is assurances of the descendant’s family, duration of their family, and savings family’s tradition. This type of marriage suitable to the human more than any others, this gives more conditions continuation of human race, and can stay legal everywhere.

Does Utopia describe an ideal society? Essay -- English Literature

Does Utopia describe an ideal society? Thomas More was born in London in 1477. More had an extensive education and rose quickly through the Government hierarchy and attained high office. In May 1515 he was appointed to a delegation to help revise an Anglo-Flemish commercial treaty. During this time he began writing Utopia and completed it upon his return to London. Utopia was first published in Latin, at Louvain in December 1516. More added Utopia just before the outbreak of the reformation, during a time when the stresses and corruption that led to the reformation were rapidly increasing towards conflict. Utopia itself depicts what its narrator Hythloday, claimed to be an ideal society. The book became a huge success and founded a literary tradition known as ‘the utopian novel’. This tradition is an authors attempt to describe a perfect and ideal society. The book is in two parts, and it is believed that the first was written last and the second was written first. The first book (book 1) is presented as an introduction to book 2 as well as providing commentary to it. It is also viewed by many that the first book was likely to have been written in two parts, firstly, to briefly introduce the characters particularly the narrator: Hythloday. With the second part being of Hythloday giving an extended speech on a number of subjects with some being of a major interest to More the author. Book one starts off as a discussion between More, Hythloday and Peter Giles. At first the discussion is very relaxed, starting off in a church, then continuing into a garden and also at a friend’s dinner but soon becoming more and more intense as they enter into debates such as practical politics and the problem of th... ...cter Hythloday translates into ‘expert in nonsense’. Showing that overall, More may not have perceived Utopia a society of idealism and perfection, but it would seem that many of Utopia’s policies offer criticisms and resolutions to the problems he saw in Europe at the time, and so it is vital to see that this book is a response to a specific historical period. Influence of Pop Art Essay

The Influence of Pop Art Illustration Essay To be someone who goes ‘against the crowd’, you must have a lot of courage. Well, back in the late 1950’s, pop artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and many others did exactly that. During this time period, pop art was a challenge to the traditions of fine art by using images of pop culture. You may be asking yourself, what is pop art? Pop art consists of objects that are removed from their original context and combined with unrelated material. In her article from Design Magazine, Adriana Marinica has a great explanation of how pop art appeals to us Americans and how pop art has it’s own style, â€Å"This art derives its style from the visual activities and pleasures of people: television, magazines and comics. † (Marinica) Pop art influenced American culture greatly while influencing the art culture as well. It created a different perspective for art, rather than fine art. Most people have seen Andy Warhol’s work, the most famous being the campbells soup cans, he is the most known pop artist. Not only did pop art influence American culture but it also influenced British culture, but in a different way. In 1952 was the beginning of the pop art movement known as â€Å"The Independent Group† who represented young artists of that time. Even today, pop art is still seen around the media and even street art. Back in it’s time, pop art was much different than anything anyone has seen. It has been the most â€Å"popular† art movements of the modern era. This movement was supposed to be a rebellion towards the ‘Abstraction Expressionists’, or artists who were perceived to be pretentious and over-intense. Fine art was popular from the 17th century on, it had much detail and focused on being realistic including paintings and drawings, while compared to pop art which has bright colors and it is more cartoony and not very realistic. Pop artists took images from popular media which made it easy to relate to the works. With the images from popular media, they would combined it with a background or other objects that had nothing to do with the media images. On the other end of the spectrum, most fine artists used a contemporary style while pop artists were more focused on the  attitudes rather than the art itself, such as irony and parody styles. Most pop artists prefer to use colors such as red, yellow, and blue since they are so vivid and are sure to grab your attention. Marilyn Diptych (1962). Campbells Soup (1968). Just a few of Andy Warhol’s most known pieces of pop art. You’ve seen the multi-colored soup can picture in your high school art class, and maybe you’ve seen the oddly colored portrait of Marilyn Monroe. Warhol had many other different styles and pieces, but he was very popular with his pop art works. Warhol seemed to have a great interest in creating images of well known actors and actresses. Not only is the iconic Andy Warhol famous for his pop art, we need to recognize that there are many other artists who have adopted the pop art culture. Some of those artists include Crash, Jim Dine, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein, and Tom Wesselmann. Pop art became very popular in the late 1950’s in North American culture. The term ‘pop art’ was officially introduced in December of 1962. Origins of pop art in North America emerged as a way of expression for artists at a time where the world was lacking any interest or excitement. This movement was to emphasise that pop art could take images from mass-media from popular culture and can still be considered fine art. At this time advertising had used many elements of modern art, which had artists searching for more clever ways to advertise to keep up with the changing world. American artists found their inspirations by living within our culture. In the United States, pop art was made as a representational art as an ironic response by artists to subdue the personal symbolism. Mass produced imagery was very popular in America, these works of art had more bold and aggressive overtones. Back in the 1950’s and 60’s pop art was associated with pop music which includes swinging and covers of the Beatles’ and Elvis Presley’s cover albums designed by the pop artist Peter Blake. In contrast, Great Britain viewed American pop art from a different perspective. Great Britain adopted romantic, sentimental, and even humorous overtones. Early pop art in Britain was inspired by American pop culture, but they did not experience this culture as Americans had. During the time of post-war, pop art culture improved the prosperity of their society. English pop was considered to be more of a metaphor or to have a theme. Introduced in the United Kingdom, the Independent Group was formed in London, 1952. This was a group of young painters, sculptors, architects, writers, and critics who were challenging modernist approaches to the culture and traditions of the fine arts. The group was mainly about popular culture implications from mass advertising, movies, product design, comic strips, science fiction, and technologies. Even with origins early as the 1950’s, pop art culture is still very alive to this day. Pop art has a very strong influence on today’s top fashion designers. As Marylou Luther of the Cleveland, Northeast Ohio News states, â€Å"To me, the most important art force that has popped back into fashion and the one most likely to have a trickle-down effect to the streets is Pop art. The art movement has been so iconic and profound that it is still featured, studied, and produced to this day. Some inspirations are helpful towards interior architecture, fashion, fabric, and something even as simple as packaging. A popular way pop art is used is the well known comic style that is based on American animations. While searching for how pop art is used today, I found a quote on a website that I felt should be included in this essay, â€Å"This type of fine art is so popular nowadays that we recognize its potential to continue growing and attracting more followers all around the world. As you can see, pop art has had a very big impact on our culture that we still see to this day. Not only has it inspired our culture and our artists, but even other countries’ culture and artists as well. I can say that I’ve been inspired by pop artist Andy Warhol with his amazing works of art. As we see daily; Hollywood, magazines, television, and newspapers are all producing different images which is enlarging popular culture majorly. Without the pop art movement, our culture would not be the same. Marinica’s point of view may better help how pop art has influenced our culture and how it is still very much alive today; she states, â€Å"Pop Art continues to be hailed as a success to this day, whether we’re talking about original pieces selling for big money, or prints selling in huge numbers. It became clear that pop art was much more than just a statement and it’s hard to ignore it. You can see it wherever you go. It’s in public places and even advertising, as it was used initially in the 1950s.
